Title: Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Competitive, dependent upon skills and experience

Status: Full Time / Site Based / Maternity Cover

Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday, 1 hour for lunch each day

Location: Golden Oriental Foods, Wembley, London.

Golden Oriental Foods is an Oriental Cash and Carry in Wembley delivering to restaurants and businesses across the whole of London and beyond.

As part of a busy team, we are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave.

Duties include;

• Cash Book Cash Allocations: Managing cash allocations in GBP
• Daily Bank Receipts
• Chasing outstanding debtors & Credit Control
• Daily Sales order approval, including credit limit.
• Payment Provider Reconciliations: Handling reconciliations for payment providers like Credit card transactions.
• Supplier Invoice entry and statement reconciliation.
• Interacting with Sales rep and Co-ordinate with telesales team.
• Weekly and monthly debtors report to all our Sales reps.
• Customer Refunds: Processing customer refunds.
• Managing supplier payments and other financial transactions.
• Customer Support: Addressing and resolving queries.
• Systems: Utilizing financial systems such as ERP, NatWest, Bankline, RBS Fastflow, MS Excel, etc.
• Weekly sales report to Management.

 Qualifications, Skills & Experience;

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience using an accounts software would be desirable. We currently use ERP
• Intermediate Excel
