In 2020, we will be launching over 100 new products which is relevant to every sales channel as we look to dramatically expand our business in the next phase of our development as we now enter core mainstream categories as well as World Foods.
We are recruiting, on a permanent basis, a National Accounts Manager New Customer Acquisition – with a view to developing high growth and profitable customer relationships in multiple product categories – core grocery (rice, pulses, spices, coconut products & canned goods), impulse (snacking and nuts) and selected frozen categories and fresh (halal and Asian)
Reporting to the Accounts Controller, you will be responsible for creating new customer partnerships, driving volumes, sales and profits. You will need to successfully communicate internally and externally with customers, be engaging and of course be incredible at sales and closing deals. You will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and can do attitude to pursue and create your own opportunities.
This is a permanent full time role with area responsibility therefore travel within the UK is an essential component. A Company car is provided with a requirement to visit head offices in Harwich, Essex normally between 1-2 days per week
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all food categories within the business for your selected customers .
- Regular face to face meetings with key contacts within assigned accounts essential.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail is imperative.
