Office Assistant (Warehouse) – Harwich, Essex

  • Status: Full Time / Permanent
  • Hours: 9am-7pm Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
  • Rate of Pay: Start Rate £9 per hour

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a further  Office Assistant to provide administration and office support to our busy Warehouse operations.

The role involves;

Duties:

  • Create next day orders via WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Create receive paperwork/pallet labels for in-bound stock
  • Despatching orders via WMS
  • Generate stock takes
  • Responding to emails and answering queries
  • Preparation of KPI data
  • General administration and filing
  • Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • Keep work area clean and tidy
  • Achieve targets and job standards as set out
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned which are commensurate with the role

Essential Skills:

  • Well organised and a good communicator
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Good numeracy and written skills
  • Confident working in a team and independently
  • Ability to remain calm and produce accurate work when under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Have a strong work ethic conveying confidence and passion in delivering high quality service
  • Being committed to safety, quality and productivity
  • Achieving a high standard of punctuality and attendance
  • Following company production rules
  • Adhering to health and safety rules and promote a safe working environment
