Surya Foods is one of the largest suppliers of authentic world foods in the UK and the company behind the rice brand, Laila – part of the rapidly expanding, family run Flying Trade Group (FTG) operating in over 30 countries. Responsible for UK number 1 market share products such as Laila Basmati Dry Rice, Laila Jasmine Rice and Thai Dragon Sriracha Sauce.

We are expanding and are now seeking a Senior Marketeer (Foods).

• The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in marketing and brand management.
• Commercial awareness
• Creative and passionate about food
• Able to develop and execute strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty in order to increase both distribution and ROS.
• Experience of working on global and regional brands

  The role will be to

• Lead Surya Foods overall marketing strategy for a portfolio of  brands across the UK.
• Woking closely with our sales, NPD and Marketing teams to identify and leverage market opportunities, consumer insights, and trends, and to deliver impactful and consistent brand messages and experiences.
• Creating long range commercial plans with key interventions by channel in order to achieve brand ambition.
• Design and deliver annual brand plans to deliver step changing, consumer facing activation to increase brand awareness, trial and salience among our target consumers across multiple channels
