Duties Include:

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, being polite, helpful and professional at all times.
  • Ensure all cleaning procedures are undertaken and all records are completed and kept up to date as required.
  • Undertake all training necessary for the safe and effective operation of counter operations.
  • Ensure all products are labelled correctly with the correct name and price and dates.
  • Ensure good stock rotation management by ensuring that stock is rotated on a first in, first out basis.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked against invoice in detail with specific emphasis on dates, shortages, contamination and delivery temperatures.

Goods In / Forklift Operator (Warehouse) – Harwich, Essex

We are seeking a Goods In/ Warehouse Operator with Forklift experience to work permanent Nights.

Duties:

  • To receive and despatch goods in our busy Goods In Department and pack goods for replenishment. To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
  • Load and unload trucks and vans in line with H&S procedures
  • Move goods to relevant departments using pallets trucks and electric ride on trucks;
  • Notify the relevant Department via the Delivery Note of any short shipments/mis-picks;

You will be well versed in interpreting data from different sources and translating this into a production plan that ensures customer availability is protected but best value from production assets is achieved. You’ll be a strong communicator, with good influencing skills and a willingness to work cross functionally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demand & Promo/Activity planning for up to 3 production sites, with the aim to provide a robust, statistically generated base rates at customer level for all SKUs over rolling timescales
  • Daily liaison with Production management colleagues
  • Provide stock management & availability processes to enable customer service levels to be achieved
  • Lead S&OP meetings
  • Ensure stock issues are identified and resolutions proposed and actioned

Working out of our 11 acre site in Harwich, Essex we are seeking full time Production Operatives.

Rate of Pay: Current £8.72+ per hour dependent upon skills and experience + opportunity for career and salary progression.

Status / Days:  You will need a willingness to work 12 hour shifts (days/evenings/nights and weekends). Either Tuesdays to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday Shifts / Hours: 12 hour shifts – 2 shifts.

Desirable Skills but not essential:

  • Forklift driving/machine operator experience

Duties:

Production involves 3 areas.

Inbound of Goods (Tipping) – where you work as part of a team to coordinate the raw material coming in and the by-products going out. As part of this, you will have to manage record of stocks and be involved in unloading of goods on a day to day basis which requires manually lifting materials, so physical exertion is required.

Production (Milling) – the specialist area of the process where you will be looking after the throughput of the product through the heart of production – the mill. You will also have to manage timely record of quality documents and cleaning documents as you go along the day with this process.

Packing – area where you will be involved in bagging the product into a final pack format for the end customer. This will involve managing the quality of the finished product as well as ensuring all the documentation related to the process is completed on time.

HGV Class 1 Drivers – Harwich, Essex.

Location: Harwich, Essex.

Status: Permanent, Full Time.

We are looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers.

Working out of our main distribution and warehousing site in Harwich, Essex we are looking for professional, experienced drivers to deliver to clients using one of our new fleet of vehicles. Candidates must have excellent customer services skills, be confident of working unsupervised and willing to deliver/collect goods as required by our Logistics department. Reliability and flexibility is key, occasional night working may be required.

If you have permission to work in the UK, have held a valid licence for more than 2 years, have less than 6 points on your licence, a DQC and digital tacho card, we would like to hear from you.

An HGV Class 1 licence is essential.
